FFA Places at Southwest Skills Classic!

Congratulations to Krystal Ritchie and Paul Bowles for placing ninth overall in the Southwest District Skills Classic!

FALL FEAST is COMING SATURDAY 3-8PM!

FFA is working hard to prep for this big event!  I just went down to see the pig coming off the roaster!  I have good timing!  🙂  DELICIOUS !  Special thanks to our pig roasting experts Kenny Snider, Jeff Jacobs, Mark Drake, and Travis Quinlan.

I can’t believe the year has passed so quickly since last year’s banquet.  Once again, Mrs. Jennings and her team of outstanding students and supportive parents organized a fantastic event including great food, silent auction, excellent student speeches, and touching moments.  Thanks to all those who attended last night to honor the successes of our students!

Felicity-Franklin FFA is Top 10 in State FFA!!!

With over 300 FFA chapters in the state of Ohio, we have so much to be proud of I can hardly keep up with it all!

Carley Snider, Sydney Snider, Dusty Brandenburg, and Chris Smith earned State Degrees, 1st Place Ag Issues, 2nd Place Food Science, 3rd and 4th Place individuals in Food Science, 4th and 7th Place individuals in Job Interview, 4th Place Public Speaking, 2nd Place in Talent Show, All three officer books earned Gold Ratings, 2 students in State FFA Choir, 1 Student in the Ag Science Fair, 10th in State for Greenhand, numerous chapter awards, AND Carley Snider will be the first state officer in many years!!!!!

FFA Travels to State Convention with High Honors!

Felicity-Franklin FFA named a Top 10 Chapter in the State of Ohio for the 2nd year in a row! Also, the chapter was named a Model of Innovation in all three sub-categories which included Student, Chapter, and Community Development. As a finalist or Top 10 Chapter in each area, six FFA members will compete in an interview/presentation to be named the Top Chapter in Ohio out of the 300 chapters.

Four Felicity FFA members to showcase their talents at the State FFA Convention. Joey and Anna Atkins will compete in the State Talent Show at State Convention on Friday, May 4th in Columbus. Seiara Blake and Courtny Windsor will participate in the State Chorus with 100 other members from across the state.

Felicity FFA members earn the highest degree awarded by the Ohio FFA Association. Four members will receive the State FFA Degree at the Ohio FFA Convention for their hard work and dedication to the FFA over the past 3-4 years. Juniors Christopher Smith, Sydney Snider and Carley Snider and Senior Dusty Brandenburg will earn their golden charm to be placed on their FFA jacket on May 4th.

Carley Snider for District 9 FFA President!!!

Carley Snider made the District 9 ballot for District President. She and twin sister Sydney completed the state officer interviews on April 14th. We won’t find out the ballot for the constitutional officers until Thursday at the first session. So there is still a chance that one or both of them could be slated for one of those 5 spots.  Voting will take place on Thursday and they will announce the results Friday night. Very exciting for Felicity!
